Project 1 was entitled 'Designing for real spaces and evolving communities'. I produced a website aimed at single parents that allowed them to easily search for cost effective, quick meal ideas based on what they had in cupboard.
My mark for the project was around 60.
My understanding of the feeback i recieved was that i did not fully consider the context of use as a community i.e.. how it created a community and how exactly my outcome would help my chosen community, and how it was tailored to suit them. I also did not consider how it brought them together, and how it would be used by all members.
I want to address these problems.
I want to also show how the website could be used in a demonstrative way: through a demonstration video, and maybe even get real people using it!
I dropped some of the functions which would address some of my criticism, and by reinstating these i could improve it dramatically.
